INDOOR REHEARSALS
The Allegra CB Covid Action Team have recently revised (22-07-21) the Risk Assessment and the Player Instruction documents below to reflect the latest Covid Government Guidance.
We are also a group member of Making Music UK, whose resources have guided our planning and decision making.

Risk Assessment

One of the first documents to be put in place, this identifies the hazards, evaluates the risks, decides on the precautions and records the findings. The precautions are then implemented at the rehearsal. It is the responsibility of all players to read and abide by the precautions set in place.

Player Instructions
This document comprises a list of instructions to the players, that are to be implemented on arrival at the rehearsal venue, along with the Risk Assessment precautions.

Player Location Plan
This is a sketch showing the location of each instrument within the band, this will help the players to find the shortest and safest route to their seat.

Test and Trace

We request that all players download the NHS Covid-19 app which helps to protect individuals and the community.

The players can also use the app to scan the QR code on arrival at the rehearsal venue.

We accept that some people will not want or be able to use the app so we wil keep a record of the players that attend the rehearsals. These records will contain name, email address, phone number and postcode and will be deleted after 21 days.

Health and Safety

The most important thing is the health and safety of the band players and that they are comfortable and accept the risks with the plan and the precautions that are set in place.

We shall not put any pressure on the band players to return to rehearsals, as we are aware that even with the measures set in place it is not 100% safe.
