Meeting place and time:
Please meet at the Band Area (See Maps below) at 1pm to help set-up. See the Band Layout sketch below.
Oaks Park has two entrance points, the South, which is in Croydon Lane, Carshalton and the North, in Woodmansterne Road (See Maps below).
Please use the South entrance to access the bands designated parking area.
Seating: Unfortunately, the park doesn't have any chairs available to us, we need to bring our own chairs (small and lightweight, if possible). Please let us know if you can't bring a chair.
Parking: Band members to park in the designated parking area behind the Grotto (See Maps below).
Please do not park in the public areas, as they get quite full.
Dress Code:
Ladies - Red top with black skirt/trousers and black jacket or cardigan.
Men - White shirt with brightly coloured bow tie, black trousers and Jacket.
Music Stand
Please bring a black or silver music stand.
Weather
On a hot day - please bring a hat and sun cream.
The conductor will decide if jackets and ties can be removed.
BAND LAYOUT
Band Layout
To save time, we will be placing coloured marker cones on the grass to position the band sections.
Please place your chair over your allocated cone, ensuing that you have a good view of the Conductor.
Red - Trumpets, Trombones, Euphonium and Tuba.
Yellow - Horns and Flutes and Oboe.
Green - Saxophones.
Blue - Clarinets
White - Bass Guitar and Drums.

First half 40 minutes, Second half 40 minutes, which includes a 2 min introduction
between each piece.
A 20 minute break between each half.
